Community-Based Rural Redevelopment through Simple, Local Actions: Been Down so Long it Looks Like Up to Me details the process used to help get the town of Dunsmuir back on it’s feet.

And the story continues. More stores are opening in downtown Dunsmuir. Soon a value added water bottling plant will start hiring. And young people are moving to town.

The moral of the story? Get started now with a simple doable project that will get folks in town feeling more positive, and create interest among visitors in moving to town.
